From March 28 to 31, the 2026 Seed Congress and the Nanfan Silicon Valley Forum were successfully held in Sanya, Hainan. This event marks the inaugural major gathering in the seed industry since the Seed Industry Revitalization Initiative entered a new phase—aiming for “major breakthroughs within ten years”—and following the commencement of closed-border operations under the Hainan Free Trade Port. With the theme “Revitalizing China’s Seed Industry: The Rise of Nanfan Silicon Valley,” the conference systematically reviewed five years of achievements, thoroughly mapped out a development roadmap for the next decade, and pooled collective wisdom and strength to advance the revitalization of the seed sector. Qingdao Planteck Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. was represented at this prestigious event by Lu Zhihao, General Manager of the Marketing Services Department, bringing Chinese expertise and equipment to the global arena of smart breeding.
