Planteq transcends national borders with unwavering resolve and confident strides.

On May 28, the self-propelled small-plot strip-seeder and small-plot wheat harvester—both independently developed and manufactured by Qingdao Planteck Machinery Technology Co., Ltd.—were fully loaded and dispatched to Iran, marking the company’s first batch of intelligent breeding equipment tailored for overseas markets. Throughout our journey, we have grown through adversity and strengthened in the face of challenges; today, we stand with unwavering resolve and confident strides.

The development of superior crop varieties is a key factor in boosting agricultural productivity. Shortening the breeding cycle, reducing labor requirements, and minimizing experimental error are all closely linked to the mechanization of field breeding trials. In recent years, countries around the world have placed great emphasis on the application of machinery for field breeding experiments. As Chinese-made agricultural equipment “goes global,” it is forging a path characterized by high technological content and superior product quality. Planteq’s intelligent seeding and harvesting equipment for small-plot breeding has weathered countless challenges and emerged stronger through rigorous refinement, now embarking on a new chapter in international markets.

The No. 1 Central Document of 2025 states: “Promote collaborative research and development in agricultural science and technology; advance the high-quality development of agricultural machinery and equipment; and accelerate the R&D and application of domestically produced, advanced, and suitable agricultural machinery and equipment.” With strong support from national policies, our company has taken the lead in undertaking projects under the Shandong Provincial Key R&D Program (Agricultural Superior Varieties Initiative), focusing on critical technological bottlenecks, building an intelligent breeding technology system, and contributing to the revitalization of China’s seed industry.

The cross-border transfer of breeding equipment holds profound significance and exerts substantial influence on the further development of the breeding machinery industry, both for our company and for the nation as a whole. At present, the mechanization of China’s seed industry as a whole remains in the transitional phase of upgrading from traditional agriculture to modern industrial practices.

By leveraging the international application of breeding machinery and drawing on a broader range of agronomic practices, we can optimize technological innovation, enhance product quality, and foster greater integration of services.

As a board member of the International Association for Mechanization of Field Experiments (IAMFE), Qingdao Planteck Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. has consistently committed itself to strengthening dialogue and exchanges with partners around the world, deepening pragmatic cooperation, actively promoting the development and practical application of breeding machinery, and contributing to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
