In 2025, the province-wide training program for enhancing the capabilities of grassroots seed technology personnel was successfully held at Qingdao Planteck, achieving deep integration of theory and practice to jointly promote innovation and development in the modern seed industry.

From September 8 to 12, 2025, the “2025 Provincial Training Program for Enhancing the Capabilities of Grassroots Seed Technology Personnel,” hosted by the Shandong Provincial Seed Management Station and organized by Qingdao Agricultural University, was successfully held. On the afternoon of September 11, leaders and experts participating in the training visited our company for an inspection and study tour. This visit, as an important component of the program’s hands-on learning, aimed to provide participants from across the province with an in-depth understanding of China’s leading capabilities in the research, development, and manufacturing of breeding machinery, and to demonstrate the powerful driving force that intelligent equipment exerts on the development of the modern seed industry.

During the visit and inspection, Ms. Li Guoying, Deputy General Manager of our company, warmly welcomed all the leaders and experts and provided a comprehensive on-site briefing throughout the entire tour, with particular emphasis on a detailed presentation and explanation of a series of core products independently developed by our company. The visiting leaders and experts sequentially examined the following: For wheat breeding equipment, including the small-plot spike-row precision seeder, the small-plot precision seeder, and the small-plot row seeder—these machines meet the diverse seeding requirements of wheat breeding, ranging from spike-row plots to variety comparison trials, with varying levels of precision; as well as the small-plot wheat harvester and the seed-production wheat harvester, whose high-efficiency, damage-free harvesting performance effectively safeguards the invaluable integrity of breeding materials. For corn breeding equipment, this includes the towed small-plot precision corn seeder and the suspended small-plot precision corn seeder, which enable precise seeding and highly efficient operations in corn breeding; along with the advanced four-row, dual-channel small-plot corn harvester, whose channel-specific harvesting capability thoroughly resolves the challenge of cross-contamination among different materials in corn breeding trials.

To enable leaders and experts to gain a more intuitive understanding of the equipment’s operational performance, the company’s technical staff conducted a live demonstration of the wheat plot-row seeder at the test site. The machine utilizes a Beidou-assisted control system to automatically manage plot row lengths and inter-row spacing, with Beidou navigation providing autonomous driving assistance. A cone-grid metering device ensures that seeds are precisely delivered to each plot without cross-contamination, while a centrifugal distributor guarantees uniform seed distribution across all rows. Following the demonstration, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions with General Manager Li and the technical team on various aspects, including operational details, applicability, and innovative features.
