Qingdao Plantech Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Plantech Technology) is a modern, nationally recognized high-tech enterprise whose core business lies in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of fully mechanized, intelligent equipment for field trials in crop breeding. The company serves as a Key Laboratory for Breeding and Seed Production Agricultural Equipment under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Shandong Provincial Engineering Research Center for Intelligent Agricultural Machinery and Equipment for Saline–Alkali Soils, a Specialized, Sophisticated, and Novel Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise in Qingdao, a board member of the International Association for Mechanization of Field Experiments (AMFE), a member of the China Seed Association, the deputy secretary-general unit of the Mechanization Branch of the China Seed Association, and the vice-president unit of the Qingdao Agricultural Machinery Production and Distribution Association. Adhering to the corporate mission of “Technology Leads the Market, Quality Shapes the Future,” the company aims to establish itself as China’s premier brand in breeding machinery and is committed to providing comprehensive, end-to-end services to breeding enterprises and institutions both domestically and internationally. Founded in March 2016, the company is headquartered in Chengyang District, Qingdao, Shandong Province.

Lanke Technology has long been committed to the research, development, and manufacturing of fully mechanized equipment for all stages of breeding major crops such as wheat, corn, soybeans, and peanuts. The company currently employs 15 R&D personnel, including 3 PhDs, 8 masters, and 8 individuals holding senior technical titles. It has undertaken numerous national- and provincial/municipal-level projects, including key projects under the National 14th Five-Year Plan and 13th Five-Year Plan for Key R&D, the Shandong Province Pilot Project for Integrated R&D, Manufacturing, and Application of Agricultural Machinery, the Shandong Provincial Key R&D Program (Agricultural Superior Varieties Initiative), the Qingdao City Science and Technology Demonstration Project, the Shandong Province Project for Enhancing Innovation Capabilities of Science-and-Technology-Based SMEs, the Qingdao City Special Project for Demonstrating and Guiding Science-and-Technology Initiatives Benefiting the People, the Shandong Province R&D Innovation Plan for Agricultural Machinery Equipment, and the Shandong Province Major Applied Technological Innovation Project in Agriculture.

Joint research efforts have been focused on key technologies and intelligent equipment for crop breeding, resulting in the development of a range of innovative machines, including the GY9150 small-plot wheat harvester, the GY9603 small-plot maize yield-measurement harvester, the YC1606 self-propelled small-plot wheat row-seeder, the YC1306 self-propelled small-plot wheat precision seeder, the GL1204 small-plot wheat plant-and-row seeder, the GY2604 four-row small-plot maize planter, and the GY2304/LX2304 four-row small-plot maize precision seeder. These models are now sold in more than 20 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions—including Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan, Hebei, Shanxi, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, and Xinjiang—as well as in several countries such as Romania, Iran, the Czech Republic, and Kazakhstan.

Backed by technological innovation, the company has researched, developed, and manufactured a range of high-quality, specialized machinery and equipment that are independently owned intellectual property and tailored to the requirements of domestic community-based breeding trials. The company has obtained certification under the national standard “Enterprise Intellectual Property Management Specification,” and in 2019 was awarded the First Prize in the Scientific Research Category of the Shennong Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology Award. To date, it has secured 18 invention patents, more than 20 utility model patents, and 2 software copyrights.
